Learning for your organisation
01 — Virtual workshops and programmes
Not everyone enjoys training virtually, but I love it. The reason for this is that you can create sessions that have very specific bursts of learning and it is quick to market. Your teams can access it live or they can be recorded for them to view at any time. I have extensive experience in creating learning and development workshops and programmes for clients and this is a core focus of my work. Sectors that I have recently supported are in healthcare, science, academic institutions and membership organisations. Ranging from half - full day masterclasses, blended learning programmes to more extensive training packages that take place on a rolling basis throughout the year.
02 — Webinars and e-learning
Live or recorded webinars are such a great way for your teams to come together on a learning topic that they are passionate about. Running 60-90 minutes in duration I can create stand-alone content or product sets for around the themes of communication, collaboration, leadership and career management. Topics include; Assertiveness, Negotiation & Influencing, Thinking Differently through Creativity, The Art of Effective Feedback, Coaching Skills, Facilitation Skills, Imposter Syndrome, Managing Stress & Building Resilience, Managing Change, The Inspiring Leader, Presenting with Impact & Taking Control of your Career
With e-learning, I’ve translated in-person workshops into e-learning modules as well as designing e-learning modules from scratch. I’ve produced 20 e-learning modules using clients bespoke learning management systems. By designing the modules to be as interactive as possible it enables the learner to immerse themselves in the subject at their own pace, dipping in and out of the topic as and when they need it.

It has been a pleasure to work alongside Susie. A true professional with lots of energy and passion for her area of expertise, which has always translated into an excellent service provision to the leadership of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. Susie always takes time to understand the dynamics and current culture of our organisation before designing an intervention and never fails to receive anything but excellent feedback. Our working relationship is outstanding, as Susie is able to quickly get into rapport and build relationships that shine through in her work, as she quickly moves from consultation to end product. I look forward to many more years of working with Susie.

Whenever Susie is commissioned to produce e-learning, webinars or masterclasses she is always enthusiastic, efficient and delivers learning to an excellent standard. As a trainer, Susie is engaging and can make a large teaching session feel personable to the delegate. She is creative, thought provoking and innovative with her delivery style and this is proven from feedback we regularly receive.

Susie, since your training there has been a significant change to two of our senior nurses. One of them has started to communicate more effectively, is pro-active with our new nurses and student nurses, and has started to deliver very positive feedback to her colleagues. The other person for whom the difference has been most noticeable is someone who three months ago was being performance managed. She is positive, pro-active, checks on her team frequently, has started to demonstrate clear leadership when she is in charge and has a new found confidence. She has started to take lead in an area that she is interested in. I honestly believe that the difference for both of those nurses has been the session that you ran. The content clearly spoke to them both and one of them particularly said ”I had forgotten why I had become a nurse and now I am going to find my love for it again”. Thank you so very much for you passion and clear brilliance in what you do.
